  • How did you come up with the idea of the slogans?

It came about when some friends and I were talking about a game we used to play with our son when he would get stared at in a derogatory manor whilst in his wheelchair.  We would say “what would Aaron say if he could talk?” and we would come up with responses that got more offensive as time went on!!!  He loved playing the game, and we all want to give other children and adults that voice too.

  • What has the reaction been for the children wearing them so far?

The response has been very positive so far.  People either stop staring (great) or actually say hello, realising they were making unfair assumptions based on physical appearance (even better). It has often encouraged people to start up a conversation with the parent or the child.   Some parents have reported back to me with encouraging boosts in their child’s confidence, which is our main aim.

  • What happens if I get my t-shirts and I don’t like them, or they are not what I expected?

This shouldn’t happen as you can see the slogans, the colours and the clothes on the web-site. However if you really don’t like them, then you can return them for a full refund, or choose something else.

  • Can I have my child’s favourite colour if it is not showing available on the web-site?

Yes, you will be able to contact us and ask for specific colours should your child have a favourite.

  • My Child wears a body harness in their wheelchair; can you print the slogan elsewhere on the garment?

Yes, we can print on the sleeve or the trouser leg and we have baseball caps on offer also. We now do bags too.

  • What other items of clothing will you be branching into?

We will eventually be offering tracksuits, trousers and all types of t-shirts and sweatshirts, if we have requests for specific garments, then we will endeavour to provide as wide a range as is possible.

  • What charities do you support?

We help support children’s charities such as Dreams Come True, The Starlight Wish Foundation and the HCPT Pilgrimage Trust.  We also support a charity set up in our sons name called ‘The Aaron Stephenson Foundation’.

  • What does The Aaron Stephenson Foundation do?

This foundation sends children with special needs to swim with the dolphins and to Disney World, as it helped our children so much, we want to be able to give other children the same wonderful experience.

  • How can I help get the word out?

By wearing the clothes, you are already making people aware that we exist.  Much of our business so far has been word of mouth.  If you would like to give out leaflets or put up posters on school notice boards e.t.c we will be happy to provide them.

  • How good is the quality of the clothes?

The clothes are very good quality, mostly fruit of the loom double stitched clothes.

  • What about washability?

All garments should be washed and ironed inside out to protect the slogans, they will last as long as any other good quality shop bought printed t-shirt.

  • How can we get the book?

You can either click on the link to order direct from the publishers, or e-mail me a request and I can send you a copy via post.

  • How long do I have to wait for delivery of my t-shirts?

Depending on area and size of order, most orders will be with you within 2 and 7 days. We ask customers to allow 28 days for delivery, but they do not usually take this long.

  • Can I place large orders for schools or sports clubs?

Absolutely, we have already had a school place a large order; we can accommodate all orders no-matter how big, and still aim to have delivery with you within the 14-28 day guideline.

  • What disabilities do you cater for?

All disabilities and special needs, we aim to give a voice to anyone no-matter how physically limited or able they are.
